Three of our own WARBC Pastors will be speaking at this year's conference:


Robert Sweatt will speak on Appreciating the Diachoric Nature of the Table: A place where the past, present, and future meet.

Robert is the Assistant Pastor at First Baptist of Hartland. He also serves on the WARBC Council. He received his undergraduate degree in Pastoral Studies while earning his Masters of Arts in Biblical Counseling. Robert and his wife Katie have been married for three years and have a little girl named Lily.




Joel Smith will discuss the various views of Christ's presence at the Table with his session, How is Jesus Present at the Table?

Joel Smith received his BA in Missions from Northland Baptist Bible College in 1998. In 2001 he married his wife Jessica, and in 2003 they each received a MABC from Central Baptist Theological Seminary. Joel served as assistant and later as senior pastor at McGrath Road Baptist Church in Fairbanks, Alaska, ministering in the Last Frontier from 2003-2012. Since 2013, Joel has been the pastor at Maranatha Baptist Church in Navarino, Wisconsin. God has blessed Joel and Jessica with eight children.


Jeremy Scott will be speaking during two sessions, Rediscovering the Beauty of the Lord's Supper and Appreciating the Practical Benefits of Regularly Observing the Lord's Supper. 


Jeremy is the Lead Pastor at Memorial Baptist Church in Verona. He also serves on the WARBC Council and is the State Educator. Jeremy's education includes two Masters degrees in Theological Studies and a Doctor of Educational Ministry degree. He has been married for 17 years to Anouk and they have two children, Mia (8) and Isaiah (5).
