I have an exciting announcement, a schedule modification, and a reminder to share with you today. Let’s go in reverse order:
Reminder. Our annual conference is coming up on October 17-18. Dr. Jared Compton will be our keynote speaker, and he will discuss the book of Hebrews. I am sure it will be a blessing to you. Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can be best prepared to host a great conference.
That leads me to a schedule modification. Typically, we have the Annual Business Meeting on Sunday night after the first session of the conference. However, we will move that meeting to Monday morning and combine it with our prayer meeting. So instead of starting at 8:30 on Monday morning for the prayer meeting, we will begin at 8:00 AM and go until 9:00 before the first session of Monday starts at 9:15 AM.
Now for the exciting announcement. We are launching a monthly roundtable discussion for church leaders over Zoom. We are calling this monthly meeting LEAP.
Why LEAP? Because the goal and purpose of this monthly discussion will be to:
Learn from each other.
Encourage each other
Acquaint ourselves with other church leaders.
Pray for each other.
We will try to limit the discussion to about one hour since you all are busy people. The first meeting is in two days! We are asking people to register so we know if people are planning on participating. You can register for the first discussion by clicking here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
Plan on participating on the first Thursday of each month at 10:00 AM. Take a minute to put it on your calendar right now.
